TRAJECTORY

Azerta-Aisén Abogados is the outcome of the merger of our respective firms, preceded by a period of close professional collaboration between us, in order to expand our service offering and form a benchmark legal boutique firm handling Business and Property Law.

Azerta Abogados was set up at the beginning of the year 2010, in order to focus its activity on the delivery of comprehensive advice to businesses and entrepreneurs.

The firm was founded by Jesus Alajarín and Ignacio López Acosta, both with extensive experience in the fields of tax and business, respectively.

Jesus was previously the Chief Tax Officer for IBM Spain. He later joined Unilever Spain, also as Chief Tax Officer, Secretary to the Board of Directors and Secretary to the Audit Board for Plans and Pension Funds of the Unilever Group in Spain.

On the other hand, Ignacio was a member of Echecopar Abogados and later a founding partner of López Acosta, Rivero & Gustafson, where he developed his professional practice focusing on corporate law and national and international commercial contracts, having intervened in more than 50 company sale, acquisition and restructuring transactions.

In 2010 they banded together to found Azerta Abogados joining a team of professionals to also offer services in the fields of employment, litigation, and public law.

Their most representative clients include BMW, Omnicom Group, Makro, Japan Tobacco Intl., Sundyne Intl., and Telefónica and Unilever.

Aisén Abogados was born in 2014 at the hands of their founding partnersAisén Abogados was born in 2014 at the hands of their founding partners, Fernando Clavijo and Ángel Fernández.

Both have extensive experience in the fields of property, commercial and litigation law, which has led naturally to our firm specialising in these fields, in particular in the sectors of commercial offices, hospitality, residential, industrial, etc., as well as in land development.

They joined Dutilh Abogados where they created and developed the real estate department in 2009. Following the merger of Vialegis-Dutilh on 2010, the firm was placed among 20 most important firms in the country.

After passing through such firm, Fernando and Ángel decided to establish their own firm specialising in Property Law, Urban Planning, Commercial and Litigation Law, giving rise to Aisén Abogados.

Since then, they have worked advising multinational companies, institutions, financial bodies, and individuals in matters relating to our specialist areas and providing defensive litigation.

Their extensive experience has enabled them to gain the confidence of large national and international property companies, including frontline companies such as Metrovacesa, GMP, Unibail-Rodamco, Altamira (Grupo Santander) or Solvia (Banco Sabadell group).
